Description: 
The division head is responsible for setting the vision for achieving and sustaining high levels of student achievement and strategically implementing the school’s mission through effective leadership of all stakeholders, including faculty, staff, student, parents, and the community. The principal oversees all aspects of the instructional program, school environment and the operational/fiscal health of the school.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Teach 1 period depending on supervisory load;
• Mentor, observe and evaluate all teachers in their division;
• Provide curriculum leadership for alignment to state and district learning standards, for sequencing a developmental, rigorous flow of content in the division, and for ensuring that all department members understand and adhere to the approved curriculum;
• Communicate district-level Common Core and curriculum progress to their divisions;
• Collect and use data to guide instruction and programming within the division;
• Develop department goals that are tied to the Illinois State Learning and the College Readiness Standards;
• Prepare a professional development plan for their division and provide accountability and supervision during professional development times;
• Coordinate student teacher and substitute needs within the division;
• Facilitate division meetings and disseminate information to all division members;
• Count, organize, and distribute textbooks and other instructional materials as well as communicate office supply and instructional materials orders;
• Facilitate conflict resolution among division members and/or between division members and their students or students' parents;
• Coordinate with counselors and other divisions in matters related to student scheduling and student learning;
• Recruit and hire new teachers in their divisions;
• Actively participate in district job-alike committees and in one's own professional development for this role;
• Develop and oversee the department budget and research grant opportunities
• Participate in some evening and weekend events;
• Facilitate articulation with the middle schools and higher learning institutions; and
• Work with the Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction and other school administrators on matters related to student well-being and learning.

Qualifications
• Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement
• Demonstrated expertise in the discipline(s) she/he supervises
• Ability to maintain a global concept of education and to identify ways in which the discipline may be appropriately correlated and coordinated with other disciplines
• Five years teaching experience
• Good organizational skills
• Strong desire and demonstrated ability to work with adults

Description: The Student Services Specialist exhibits leadership, managerial and supervisory competencies aimed at
fostering individual student learning. With their specialized educational background, the Student Services Specialist will
support increased student growth and outcomes for students with disabilities. Furthermore, the Student Services
Specialist role oversees special services programs and offerings, disseminates information and acts as a resource for
others. The role aims to attain specific objectives by strategizing, assessing, enhancing, executing, and sustaining
services in accordance with Federal and State Special Education laws. The individual in this position oversees the
delivery of instruction and identified programming based on individual student needs and will have a targeted focus on
special education subgroups as identified in the Illinois State Summative designation.

Essential Functions:
• Provides direct support and tools for students with disabilities.
• Works with special education teachers to support instruction in classrooms to increase student achievement.
• Ensures academic and behavioral support for students with disabilities occur within a timely manner and a continuum of services is available to all students.
• Verifies appropriate delivery of both special education instruction and related services as stipulated on IEPs/504 plans.
• Supports IEP meetings as one of the school’s LEA (local education agency) including initial evaluation. This includes coordinating with the student’s special education team to ensure all documents are completed in a timely manner according to state, local, and school policies and procedures.
• Aligns IEP procedures and services to the District vision, mission and goals for student learning. IEPs should be developmentally appropriate, curriculum/standards-based, strength-based and relevant to individual students.
• Manages and oversees MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Academic and Behavioral within the school building.
• Collects and analyzes data for student achievement and program effectiveness.
• Observes students and classrooms to make recommendations.
• Monitors and assists special education staff in the adaptation and evaluation of instructional materials and curriculum.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records and student information.
• Facilitates transition meetings as needed.
• Consults and relays information to district, staff and parents regarding reasonable accommodation and behavior management, strategies within the special education and general education setting
• Assists student services personnel in the improvement and updating of methods, materials, and techniques for his/her professional area
• Participates in due process activities as needed.
• Oversees the child find process.
• Supports and participates in discipline training (both district delivered and building offered)
• Creates professional development and training sessions in collaboration with the building principal, the administrative team and the district to benefit the professional practice of all certified and non-certified staff. • Works in collaboration with the building administration to hire and train certified special education teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Follows district defined timelines for the evaluation process of certified special education staff and paraprofessionals.
• Establishes and maintains effective school, community and family partnerships by providing ongoing communication regarding special education and student service programs. This includes effectively communicating to parents and guardians the special education process including process for referrals, evaluation, annual IEPs/504 plans, and re-evaluations as well as parent rights granted by IDEA.

Qualifications:

Certification: A Bachelor's Degree in special education or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a General Administrative Endorsement/license
• Minimum of five years teaching and/or administrative experiences

Position Description: 
Dundee-Crown High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Head Girls Bowling Coach for the 2025-2026 school year with a strong knowledge of Bowling and a focus on student-athletic achievement. Responsibilities include but not limited to working directly with coaching staff to develop practice and games plans, monitor, teach, instruct and motivate players, keep detailed records of practice, progress and results and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques. Must be organized, flexible, able to take direction from the head coach and/or direct supervisor, and able to work and communicate with parents and the Booster Club.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• High school bowling coaching experience is recommended. Must be able to oversee at all levels within the program, able to coach various areas within the program, organized, flexible, able to take direction from direct supervisor, and able to work with parents and the Booster Club. 
• Must be able to coach the Varsity level and oversee all levels within the program, able to coach various areas within the program, organized, flexible, able to take direction from the direct supervisor, and able to work with parents and the Booster Club.
• Enhance, improve, and maximize students’ athletic skills required to compete at a high level. 
• In the off-season, make time for strength and speed training. Must be able to assist in fundraising, organization, and other tasks to ensure we maintain accurate records of equipment.
• Organizes and oversees specific program levels or areas of responsibility.
• Communicates with the Athletic Director and Athletic Office to secure facilities to ensure a safe practice/competition environment for students.
• Supports the philosophy, programmatic instruction of sequential fundamentals, and proper conditioning communicated by the head coach.
• Communicates and plan with the Assistant Coaches the practice sessions and competition strategies to ensure the health and physical well-being of the student participants.
• Coordinates with the assistant coach and Athletic Director all in-season practices.
• Assures that all student participants at his/her program level are in compliance with D300 and IHSA requirements including current athletic physical, Code of Conduct, fees paid, and is academically eligible, prior to practice, tryout, and competition.
• Models and instills the values of sportsmanship and fair play to all participants, and enforces consequences for breach of such standards. 
• Attends all student-athlete practices, and games, and monitors proper supervision at all practices, games, and on school-provided transportation. 
• Maintains and provides the athletic director with end-of-season individual and team records and statistics.
• Participates in a mandatory preseason parent meeting. 
• Coordinates with the assistant coaches in planning for the seasonal recognition program.
• Coordinates with the assistant coaches with the orderly distribution and collection of uniforms and equipment.
• Engages in personal professional development activities.
• Other Duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
