Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a student worker to assist the Communications Department with responsibilities that include:
 
• Edit and produce the “Glenbrook Insights Podcast”

   

  • Experience with developing podcasts

  • Experience with editing software programs
     

• Create video content for social media marketing promotion

   

  • Experience filming and editing videos

  • Experience with video editing software programs
 
The dates available range from April 1, 2025 to August 1, 2025, and hours vary based on host and guest availability.

Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking student workers for the Bookstore. 

The responsibilities include:
• Review student schedules and create individualized boxes with required textbooks and supplies;
• Provide excellent customer service to all D225 stakeholders, including order fulfillment and floor support during the instructional material pick-up process;
• Assist in moving inventory with the use of a cart or dolly between locations in the building (lifting boxes to 50 lbs. may be required);
• Standing for extended periods may be required;
• Use of an iPad, laptop, and Chromebook required;
• Remain calm in stressful situations;
• Maintain confidentiality on all student information; and
• Perform any other duties required or assigned.

Dates
Vary between June 9, 2025, through August 15, 2025.

Hours 
• Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (closed on Juneteenth 6/19/25).
• Additional hours may be requested due to backorders and high-volume distribution during instructional material pick-up periods.

Compensation is provided as per the attached salary schedule. 

New Hire Probationary Period 60 days.

Glenbrook High School District 225's Human Resources department is currently seeking student workers to assist with key projects over the summer. These temporary positions offer a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills. 

Project 1: Digitization of Records
The selected student(s) will be responsible for converting physical records into digital format in the Skyward Qmlative HRIS System. Applicants should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to scan documents in batches, a comprehension of the confidentiality surrounding the personnel files, and possessing strong time management skills. 

Key responsibilities:
• Convert physical records into digital format.
• Scan documents in batches while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of personnel files. 
• Safeguarding records from physical degradation, loss, or damage during the digital conversion process.

Additional Qualifications:
• Proficiency with scanning.
• Familiarity with office scanners.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills. 
• Understanding the confidentiality associated with personnel files. 

Position Details:
1. This is a temporary position and is not benefits-eligible. 
2. Duration: June 3, 2025, through August 6, 2025.
3. Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
4. Compensation is provided as per the attached salary schedule.
