    Description:  Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Information Technology. This individual will be essential in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the district’s technology infrastructure and systems, ensuring a stable and effective learning environment for both students and staff. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and able to work well within a team. They should possess a strong technical background, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to lead projects, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

    Minimum Qualifications:  
    • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical degree or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology infrastructure support and administration
    • Strong technical knowledge of networking, servers, cloud services, and system security.
    • Experience in LAN/WAN connectivity and system installation, maintenance and repair.
    • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls).
    • Experience with Windows Server Active Directory and Client operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of services such as File and Print Services, WSUS, DNS, and DHCP.
    • Ability to lift/move items weighing 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
    • Available to work irregular hours and/or a non-traditional schedule. 
    • Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
    • Comprehensive understanding of technology in an academic environment. 
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
    • Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written/oral communication, mathematical reasoning/application, etc.).
    • ?Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
    • Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful problem-solving skills. Interprets information accurately. Evaluates options thoroughly. Develops reasonable solutions to resolve issues.
    • Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
    • Meets all mandated health screening requirements. 
     

    Preferred Qualifications:

     
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

    • 5+ years experience working in Information Technology for a K-12 institution.

    • In depth knowledge and experience with Google Workspace for Education, Clever and other related tools.

    • Experience with Cisco and Meraki Wireless & networking solutions.

    • Experience with Cyber Security best practices including training, planning, XDR and remediation.

    • Experience with Cisco VoIP solutions.

    • Experience with security, access control and video surveillance systems.

    • Experience with Dell Avamar Data Protection, Veeam,  or comparable Enterprise Backup & Disaster Recovery Solutions.  

    • Working knowledge of VMWare virtualization or equivalent.  

    • Familiar with the computer image deployment process - building, gathering, and deploying images.  

    • Previous experience working in a school; Understanding technology applications in an academic environment.
