Master’s (M.A.) or Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in school psychology from an accredited college or university
Appropriate State of Ohio certifications/license

Essential Functions:
Conduct individual psycho-educational evaluations of children referred to the Special Education Department
Assist in the planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet identified learning and adjustment needs
Deliver a planned and coordinated program of psychological services
Participate in the identification and placement of students with disabilities; use assessment data about the student and their environment(s) in developing appropriate interventions and programs to support the teaching process and maximize learning
Consult with educational staff to develop individualized learning or behavioral plans for students
Provide consultation to parents, teachers, other school personnel, and community agencies to enhance the learning and adjustment of students through conferences and written reports
Promote the cognitive, social and personal development of all students
Recommend appropriate classroom management strategies for behavior management
Assume case manager responsibility for individual students for the assessment phase and evaluation team report writing portions of child study
Provide consultation, collaboration, and co-facilitation for the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) process to support core instruction and intervention using data-based decision making
