Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping regarding the services delivered via the counseling program.
Coordinates with other professional staff members to evaluate and assess the social and emotional curriculum, and participates in faculty meetings and committees.
Applies knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles.
Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 SEL instruction in whole class settings and small groups.

Participates in staffing and Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or 504 conferences as relates to their direct client.
Consults with teachers as appropriate to assist them in addressing the expectations for social decision making, behavioral, mental health, and academic goals based on SEL standards.
Meets with parents to address academic, career, and social/personal domains affecting student’s competencies.
Facilitates and implements training in social decision making, behavioral, mental health, and academic goals for staff, parents, and community members.
Facilitates classroom intervention instruction.
Facilitates a comprehensive continuum of support that promotes healthy positive youth development using the social emotional learning standards.
Keeps up-to-date on current research and practice referenced in the American School Counselor Association National Model.
Assists with collecting and analyzing data regarding program participant outcomes, in the following priority areas: improving Tier 1 instructional practices, policies, and student outcomes.
