PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Carry out teacher lesson plans
Motivate student learning and academic participation while ensuring the integrity of academic time
Maintain a climate of respect and fairness for all students
Provide effective instruction as well as maintain discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and
positive environment for all students
Assumes responsibility for supervising students in and out of class setting
Maintain student confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Professional in working with students, parents, and colleagues
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: College Degree preferred, high school diploma required
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: The ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Department of Education Teaching Certificate, or a 5, 3 or 1 year Substitute Authorization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level is typical of a school district.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent sitting, bending, reaching; stooping, squatting. Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty five (25) pounds.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None.
