Professional Staff Positions
The Central Bucks School District is accepting applications and screens for all anticipated Professional Staff positions for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.   In order to begin the process of joining the Central Bucks School District, you must complete this application. After you have submitted your application, your application will be reviewed and you will receive notification of the next steps in our process. 
 
You will be required to upload the following documents in order to complete this application*:
 
1. College transcripts - This is for all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended.  Please put all transcripts into one PDF file and upload as a one document.  Transcripts should show that your degree(s) have been conferred.  For recent graduates, your transcript will not say conferred immediately.  You may upload your most recent transcript which should include your last semester.  You may be asked for the final transcript during the screening process.
 
2. PA Teaching Certification - Please upload in PDF format your PA teaching certificate.   If you are a recent graduate and do not have your PA Certification yet, you will need to upload a copy of your Praxis/PECT score report combined with a letter from your college/university indicating you have met all the requirements for graduation and for obtaining PA certification.
 
3. All required clearances - Upon receiving an offer of employment, you will be required to submit valid (within one year) clearances in order to start working.

DESCRIPTION:	CBSD is accepting applications for Substitute (On-Call) Custodians. This job involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. Key responsibilities include collecting and discarding trash, maintaining floors through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning, and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting lavatory areas. You will be tasked in cleaning glass surfaces and mirrors, participating in group cleaning projects, and maintaining furniture and fixtures. Additionally, the job includes assisting with furniture arrangement, responding to inclement weather conditions by removing snow and salting, performing security checks, and offering assistance for our outdoor sporting events as needed. Other duties may be assigned as needed by supervisors or managers.
REQUIREMENTS:	Ability to properly use all types of commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping machines, floor scrubbers, available for snow removal (ability to use shovel & snow blower), and any special tools or equipment assigned to perform duties. Must be able to follow standard procedures for diluting chemicals, floor finishes and use of cleaning chemicals.

• Individuals who are 25 or older, have at least 60 college credits or 3 years of experience as a paraprofessional, and complete training on classroom management, may serve as “classroom monitors” by delivering preplanned assignments for a teacher.

The Central Bucks School District is offering training for CBSD Emergency Certification with the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Upon successful completion of the training, applicants will be eligible to substitute teach in the Central Bucks School District for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
Qualifications: You must hold a conferred Bachelor's degree to apply. (If an applicant holds a current Emergency Certification from the Bucks County I.U. participation in the CBSD program is not required. Please contact Central Bucks Human Resources for further direction at subfinder@cbsd.org).
 
Compensation: $160/day for days 1-39; $165/day for days 40+
