POSITION: Kindergarten Readiness Coordinator
LOCATION: Any CASE Worksite
TERM/FTE: Full time, 1.0 FTE, 210 calendar days (January - December) pending funding
DEPARTMENT: Special Education
REPORTS TO: Program Supervisor
Salary Range: $52,360.00 Annual

POSITION SUMMARY:
Support families with children aged 3-5 and through the Kindergarten year. Will support and respond to individual needs of families. Collaborate with community members to deliver services in culturally and linguistically sensitive ways. Conduct home visits as needed for families to reach their targeted goals. Visits in the home will follow the Parents as Teachers model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development centered parenting, and family well-being. Facilitate and co-plan screenings, group connections and parent meetings. Collaborate with community partners and school personnel to identify emerging developmental and parenting needs and provide respnsive tailored supports. Carry a hybrid caseload of both direct service and extended family supports.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in working with children, birth - 5 years preferred; good communication skills; good organizational skills, experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.This position requires traveling to multiple locations throughout the workday, and a flexible schedule (occasional evening and weekend hours). Multilingual applicants preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, AND TRAINING:
Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development or Family Studies;
Social work experience preferred;
Spanish speaking preferred;
PAT certification preferred;
