Guest Teacher for Full Day and Half Day Shifts Available. Help support our teachers when they are sick, have field trips, are taking care of their own sick children!

• Official Transcripts with a total of 60* credit hours and a minimum 2.0 GPA from regionally accredited colleges/universities

• School will provide a Temporary Teaching Authorization

• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate is not required but means you are automatically qualified

• Expired Michigan Teaching Certificate is not required but means you are automatically qualified

• Out of State Teaching Certificate accompanied by an official undergraduate transcript from a two or four-year accredited college/university showing 60* credit hours and a minimum 2.0 GPA is not required but means you are automatically qualified

Black River Public School is looking for a full-time, long-term Special Education guest teacher 

Job Description:
Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher. Full-time would include all classes with ample planning time and teacher lesson plans/notes. 

Job Qualifications:
Meet state requirement for subsitutes. Have an open-minded attitude and passion for working with all students. Must be well organized and exhibit qualities of patience, consistency, and flexibility in working with students and staff.

Black River Public School is an independent, non-profit college-preparatory charter school serving grades K-12 on one campus in Holland, Michigan.  Chartered in 1996 by Grand Valley State University, the school features a multi-age Montessori-based elementary program, an integrated middle school liberal arts curriculum, and a rigorous high school program capped by 18 Advanced Placement courses. The school has grown from 200 to 910 students and limits enrollment at each grade level to 80 students. We offer small classes and personalized learning experiences for our students.
