    6th-8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher

     

    Altar Valley Middle School, a 6th through 8th grade school of approximately160 students, is seeking a dynamic 6th - 8th Grade English Lanugage Arts teacher to join our talented team. 

    Altar Valley School District lies just southwest of Tucson, Arizona approximately 9 miles west of Ryan Airfield and 10 miles from Kitt Peak National Observatory.  AVSD staff members have the good fortune to work in small, student-centered schools in a supportive, rural community where our positive efforts are making a difference in the lives of our students.

    We are part of a two school district. Robles Elementary serves our Pre-K to 5th grade students. Most of our high school students attend Flowing Wells High School, an award winning high school on Tucson's west side.
