Qualifications: MUST hold an NC teaching license, bachelors in education, employment contingent upon NC teaching licensure
Description: This position requires a dynamic individual to teach at the high school level. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the NC Standards and Grade Expectations and be willing to work with a diverse population of students. The ideal candidate will be certified to teach in NC and will have a strong background in content as well as proven classroom management and instructional strategies. We are seeking an individual who is willing to be part of a professional learning community to support the education of all students. Master's Degree preferred, but not required. A completed application must include: profile, letter, resume, transcripts, three CURRENT references, tests and certifications.

1. Establishing and enforcing rules of behavior for students in the classroom
2. Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives
