    Lead Secretary for State & Federal Programs
    Support the work of the Director of State and Federal Programs, Elementary Schools, and the Supplemental Programs department:  Federal Title programs support, coordinate communications and projects, executing federal title grants/deadlines.  Work with buildings to ensure compliance to spending guidelines.  Create and maintain building budgets.  Create and maintain records of purchases and support documentation of staff through individual time and effort reporting.  Support the department with record-keeping for compliance documentation.  Ensure compliance with district guidelines.  Work with the Minnesota Department of Education as needed or requested.

    Duties include:  Data entry, record keeping, office coordination and training, customer service of Title funded programs including non-public schools, state and federal reporting, record maintenance and retention, written and oral communication, payroll, processing purchase orders, and general clerical responsibilities. Other general clerical duties as assigned to support the programs and department.

    Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent; ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail;  flexibility;  ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public;  ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.  Must be physically working in the building.

    Preferred Qualifications:  Computer skills and experience with MS Word, Excel, Google Suite, SERVS, Synergy, and Skyward preferred.

    Rate of pay: $22.65/hour to $28.75/hour.   View additional terms and benefits here.
    Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 193 days per year.
