The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District has an opening for a third grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Meadow View Elementary is seeking highly motivated, quality applicants for this position.
Meadow View is a progressive second, third and fourth grade building with small class sizes and an energetic, collaborative staff. Meadow View educates approximately 540 students and is located directly west of Waukee on the edge of the Des Moines metropolitan area.
Candidates must lead with humility and be hungry for continued improvement. Applicants must be highly collaborative and able to analyze student achievement data to make instructional decisions. The ADM staff is committed to the Professional Learning Community model, and leveraging our people smart approach.
The ideal candidate would possess a passion for student achievement and emotional wellbeing, have experience integrating technology within the classroom, and strive for continued instructional improvement.
Qualifications:
- Valid Iowa Teacher License K-6 Endorsement
- Highly Preferred: Reading minor or endorsement

- Knowledge of practices for a general education classroom including current research and evidence-based instructional practices

- Interest to participate in professional learning opportunities, implement strategies, and show a reflective nature to grow professionally
- Strong formative and summative data analysis skills to make instructional decisions
- Effective record keeping and organizational skills
- Knowledge of using technology to enhance learning
