  The Appleton Area School District has one part-time, hourly, position available for Even Start Family Literacy:  Home visitor.

The position available is in the toddler classroom located in the Community Early Learning Center, 313 S. State Street, Appleton.
The position is hourly non-benefit eligible with some flexibility. The Even Start Family Literacy teacher will work within a wrap-around environment to provide high quality early learning, play-based instruction and experiences focused specifically on language, literacy, social and emotional development for children of ages birth to 5. Collaboration is essential amongst FVTC adult learning team, early childhood team and home visiting is a key component in providing instruction for all learners. Prior training or willingness to be trained/coached in Parents As Teachers is required.

Qualifications
Certification: Minimum of Associate Degree in Early Childhood or 2-4 year degree in a related field. A fulfillment of a practicum, internship or student teaching experience can be considered.

Salary/Wage: $19/hour
