    Pay Scale:  $17.04 - $21.90

               
    Must have ODE van certificate or be willing to obtain within 15 days.  Call Jessica Widmer, 330-335-1328, with questions.


    Qualifications Preferred:
     
    1. Possess a valid driver's license.
    2. High school diploma or equivalent.
    3. At least five year’s experience driving vehicles.
    4. At least twenty-one (21) years old.
    5. Experience working with children preferred.
    6. Good health, high moral character and good attendance record.
    7. Knowledge of working with special needs children preferred.
    8. Ability to work flexible schedules.
    9. Ability to make good decisions in complex situations.
    10. Ability to work with multiple handicapped children.
    11. Ability to carry out both written and oral directions/policies.
    12. Physically able to perform all items as listed in the essential duties.
    13. Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
    14. Satisfactory report from State of Criminal Identification (every six years).
    15. Satisfactory annual records check (abstract –  bi-annual).
    16. Physically qualified (as determined by Rule 3301-83-07AD – yearly).
    17. Successful completion of the pre-service training requirements of a four hour minimum driver course, driver’s performance evaluation, and possession of a valid Ohio pre-service van driver training certificate.  (ORC 3327-10).
    18. Validation of qualifications as determined by an interview.
    19. Other relevant criteria as determined by the Board of Education, Superintendent and/or designee may find appropriate are acceptable.
