Hugoton Primary School is searching for an Intermediate Teacher’s Aide who is a curious, lifelong learner with a passion for discovering new things. Outstanding candidates will be active participants within our dynamic staff.
The Primary Reading Aide will work under the direction of the lead teacher in any classroom and will report to the teachers/principal for scheduling and the assignment of responsibilities.
The district provides a single health insurance policy along with other benefits. The Primary Reading Aide serves as an important supportive role for teachers and students, Hugoton Elementary School (HES) families, and the program of the school.

Hugoton Primary Teacher Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Be professional and courteous in dealing with students, families, faculty and staff, and the general public
- Support classroom teachers in implementing curriculum
- Provide learning assistance to students as requested by the teacher
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their educational, emotional, social and physical needs
- Monitor and supervise students during school activities, lunch, recess, and other times as assigned or needed
- Other duties as assigned or requested
