Substitute School Nurse

Job Summary:
Fulfill School Nurse duties in promoting health and safety in the school environment.  Providing health services to students; the administering of medication to students; providing emergency care for students and staff; providing training and supervision of the emergency medication for designated school staff, and assisting in conducting specific health appraisals. Maintain appropriate level of communication while adhering to confidentiality guidelines at all times.  Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations and Board policies. 

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN or LPN); demonstrated expertise in nursing practice and emergency procedures; knowledge of current health issues, wellness education, and child growth and development.  Experience in a pediatric hospital or pediatric physician office preferred.
