Description:
High School Resource Teacher (ID) - With Autism
Job Summary:
1. Developing IEP's for Ml, MOMI, SLD, BO, and Autistic students
2. Giving direct instruction to Ml, MOMI, SLD, BO, and Autistic students
3. Do consultations with parents and professionals
4. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or Special Services Administrator
Qualifications:
1. A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate, Licensure, and/or both in Mental Retardation or Mental Impairment, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Behavioral
Disorders Including Autism OR Multi-Categorical and BO Including Autism
2. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
3. If a fully certified candidate does not apply, those eligible for a permit will be considered. Applicant must provide documentation from the college showing their eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
1. Be able to impart information and orally communicate with students, families and others.
2. Be able to understand and respond to oral communications and directions.
3. Be able to read, write, understand and respond to written instructions, communications and materials.
4. When supervising a group of students, have the capacity to ensure the safety of, observe,
supervise and assess all situations involving a student, a group of students and co-workers.

Description:  Substitute Teacher - Various locations

Job Summary:  1. Direct instructional relationship with the students
2. Carry out the laws and policies of the state and county relating to education, including the rules pertaining to the welfare of the student
3. Work closely with the principal in planning and implementing an excellent learning experience for students in a classroom setting
4. Evaluate continuously the progress of students
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications:  1. A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate; OR a Bachelors Degree OR an Associates Degree (or 60 college credit hour 
equivalent) and the substitute teacher training required by State Board of Education Policy 5202.  The link to the training will be emailed once application is reviewed.
2. Be at least 21 years old
3. Pass background check scheduled through the WVDE and Drug Screen completed by Wyoming County Schools
4. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
