Summary/Objective
Under the general Supervision of the District Coordinator of Safety and Security,directs the action of children and traffic at assigned crosswalks in order to ensure safe crossing of students.

Reports consistently for work as scheduled
Performs other duties as assigned
Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
Directs action of children at an assigned crosswalk in order to ensure safe crossing
Directs visitors to office
Escorts children across the street and parking lots
Issues verbal warnings, reports misconduct, and requests assistance from appropriate personnel as required
Maintains communications with the building principal and/or Colorado Springs Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, or Air Force Security Police regarding incidents that occur at assigned locations that could potentially impact the safety of pedestrians
Monitors student(s) behavior, ensuring their compliance to district/building rules, policies, and regulations
Supervises parking lots and school grounds
