• Record and maintain log of repairs performed, condition of area, and/or action taken.
• Perform other related general maintenance duties as assigned.
 
 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
 
• High School or vocational school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must possess and maintain one or more of the following licenses as issued by the State of Connecticut, S-2, D-1 or D-2 or P2.
• Knowledge and skill in the use of all BMS systems

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Conducts speech, language and hearing screenings, as required

• Develop materials, training and provide resources for and provide professional learning to administrators, educators, para-educators and parents/guardians in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and and/or other evidence-based methodologies related to addressing the needs of students with behavior difficulties
• Train paraeducators on ABA and student programs and initial RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training
• Performs related duties as required.

• Oversee implementation and ensure procedural integrity and proficiency of behavior plans and programming implemented by team members through onsite consultation and review  
• Provide classroom teachers with classroom management techniques and strategies including environmental changes to address challenging behavior  
• Conduct assessments including experience with functional behavior assessment/functional behavior analysis using empirically proven assessment tools and make recommendations based on these assessments
• Develop SMART goals and objectives based on evaluation and assessment results

• Utilize appropriate crisis intervention techniques.
• Create opportunities for students to learn/practice new skills/behaviors related to IEP goals.
• Utilize appropriate clinical skills/techniques during individual/group counseling sessions.
• Receives administrative and technical supervision from the Director of Pupil Personnel Services and general supervision from the building principal.

Job Summary:

Systems Administrator performs administrative database management, problem-solving, statistical analysis, report writing, network troubleshooting and configuration, and maintenance related to the systems for Windham Public Schools(WPS).
