At Woodward Granger Early Learning Center, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. Our mission is to empower individuals with diverse learning needs to achieve their full potential.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Education Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our special education teacher and support staff to provide assistance to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive the individualized support they need to succeed academically and socially.
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
- Assist students with daily living skills, academic tasks, and social interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt instructional materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and families.
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for student success.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students with disabilities or in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting diverse learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to the needs of individual students.
