EVALUATION:                                Performance of this position will be evaluated regularly in accordance with the Board’s policy on the evaluation of certified staff.
 
JOB SUMMARY
To help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women. 
The job description will be used as a guideline for the summative evaluation report.

The Waynesville R-VI School District is now accepting applications for an instructor for Career Pathways for the Teaching Profession for the 2025-2026 school year. 
 
Qualifications
 
1. 9-12 Missouri Professional Teaching License in Family Consumer Sciences (FACS) OR qualified to obtain FACS certification. 

2. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
 
Requirements
 
Good communication skills  - this program will require communication with teachers, counselors, and administrators in multiple school districts as well as observations of students in practicum experiences.

The successful candidate will be proficient in current industry trends as well as terminology, audio / video production, narrative and visual storytelling and be able to lift and carry 40lbs. 

The candidate should be fluent in the operation of Macintosh and Windows based computers as well as Adobe Premiere Pro. 

For CTE Certification a candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and four thousand (4,000) hours of Department-approved,Closely related occupational experience obtained within the past ten (10) years; or
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and five thousand (5,000) hours of Department-approved, closely related occupational experience within the past ten (10) years; or
• No degree and six thousand (6,000) hours of Department-approved, closely related occupational experience obtained within the past ten (10) years.
