    JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    Title: Technology Support Specialist Summer Help (Part-Time)

     

    Location: District

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    1. Assist with the deployment of new equipment.

     

    • Laptops/Chromebooks

    • Classroom Docking Stations

    • Office Desktops

     

    1. Assist with software installs and computer updates.

     

    • Windows 10/11

    • Document Camera Software

    • Antivirus Software

     

    1. Operate a Chromebook Help Desk. Meet parents to collect broken chromebooks, submit to Trafera for repair and provide the family with a loaner on four or five scheduled days during summer.

    2. Assist in collecting information for the equipment inventory.

     

    • Utilize Technology Department Helpdesk Tickets/Assets

     

    1. Clean, troubleshoot, and repair Chromebooks turned in for the summer.

    2. Set-up classroom/office equipment: plug in, turn on, make sure peripherals are working properly, and make sure they connect to the internet.

    3. Knowledge of Windows machines, Chromebooks, inventory systems and computer peripherals.

    4. Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods.

    5. Must be able to work independently and on a team.

    6. Drivers License is required, transportation to and from buildings is preferred.
