We are seeking a passionate and innovative educator to serve as our STEM and Gifted & Talented (G&T) Teacher, inspiring young learners through hands-on, inquiry-based exploration. This unique role combines engaging STEM instruction with a specialized G&T pull-out program, providing an exciting opportunity to challenge students across a broad range of abilities.
As the STEM Teacher, you will spark curiosity and problem-solving by integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through interactive lessons, collaborative projects, and real-world applications.
As the G&T Teacher, you will design and implement an enriched, accelerated curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual growth, while addressing the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted learners.

Additional STEM Responsibilities:
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular learning experiences.
Organize and lead STEM-related events, clubs, and competitions (e.g., Science Fairs, Robotics Club).
Maintain and manage STEM materials, tools, and technology to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Encourage inclusive and equitable participation, ensuring all students feel engaged and empowered in STEM.
Additional Gifted & Talented Responsibilities:
Identify and assess students for G&T services using multiple measures and collaborate in the selection process.
Provide individualized support and mentorship to help students develop their strengths and talents.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support gifted learners in both pull-out and inclusive classroom settings.
Organize enrichment opportunities, such as academic competitions, field trips, and special projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, STEM Education, Gifted Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification) in relevant subject areas.
Familiarity with coding platforms, robotics kits, and digital learning tools.
Experience working with advanced learners in an elementary setting.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to build partnerships with staff, students, and families.
