The teacher keeps current on instructional knowledge and seeks and explores changes in teacher behaviors that will improve student performance.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
 
A standard summer school teaching contract is as follows, depending upon the specific assignment:
 
Elementary/Middle School – June session – Per session (52 hours)
High School – June session – Per class (63 hours)
 
Compensation is according to the teacher salary schedule as established annually by the Board of Education.  All other employee benefits are according to the total FTE of employment for the individual.
