Description:
The Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking qualified teaching candidates for the 2025 ESY (Extended School Year) program.  The Upper Moreland Township School District has both full- and half-day needs available!

Salary:  $52.50 per hour  

Responsibilities Include: 
• Design daily lesson plans based on student’s IEP goals. 
• Provide daily instruction in goal areas.
• Provide effective classroom management.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and rewards systems as outlined in IEPs, maintain effective communication with parents.
• Maintain data collection records.
• Provide daily direction and communication with paraprofessionals.
• Meaningfully engage with students to create a fun and robust learning environment.
• Other job duties as assigned. 
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education required.
• PA Special Education certification required.
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs.
• Willingness to support children in self-care such as dressing, toileting and eating.
• Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and material.
• Must be available for entire program and available for a training date prior to the start of ESY.
• Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.
• Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.

ESY Schedule- Summer 2025:
• Monday through Thursday
• June 30th through July 31st
• 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Full-Day)
• + 10 prep hours
• Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Learning Support, and Life Skills Support positions available
