Title: AV TECHNICAL STUDENT WORKER Reports to: AV Technical Manager
Description: Under the supervision of the AV Technical Manager, provide technical support for outside activities scheduled at Twinsburg High School Auditorium and activities at Twinsburg High School Gymnasium and Tiger Stadium. Assists with the operation of technical and stage equipment for these three venues.
Rate: $13.50 per hour-Not to exceed 18 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications - Must be a Twinsburg High School student
- Must be age 16 or older
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
- Successful related experience in audio/visual maintenance
- Auditorium/theater/stadium production experience preferred.
- Knowledge of current theater/auditorium/scoreboard technology.
- Proficiency in reading, math, oral and written communication.
- Remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

- Accept direction and suggestions from immediate supervisor.
- Attend assigned outside activities scheduled at Twinsburg High School Auditorium and assigned activities at Twinsburg High School Gymnasium or Tiger Stadium.
- Ensure proficient knowledge on the operation of the sound, lighting and visual display systems at Twinsburg High School Auditorium, sound and scoreboard system at Twinsburg High School Gymnasium, and the sound and scoreboard system at Tiger Stadium.
- Ensure proficient knowledge of how to operate camera equipment.
- Ensure proficient knowledge of how to tape and edit video, sound and other applicable files.
- Ensure the appropriate storage and handling of audio visual equipment.
- Maintains and repairs specific pieces of A/V equipment.
- Refers major repair of A/V equipment to the AV Technical Manager.
- Follow written directions, write legibly, and complete reports using current computer hardware and software, if necessary.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills while working with the community in a positive public relations mode.
- Any other duties requested by the AV Technical Manager or other supervisory staff member.

Performance Evaluation: The AV Technical Student Worker will have his/her performance evaluated at least annually by the immediate supervisor to whom assigned in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
