Ensure best practices are used in the assignment, discipline, and supervision of students.
Ensure best practices are followed and sound decisions are made regarding school fiscal duties and responsibilities and financial matters.
Oversee school operation procedures as they relate to custodial services, energy management, maintenance, school nutrition, and transportation and collaborate with district level administrators.
Maintain a safe learning environment by ensuring adherence to the emergency preparedness plan.
Maintain open and frequent communication with the Superintendent and his/her designee and feeder High School Principals regarding relevant school matters.
Participate in staff development as the Troup County Board of Education and administrators deem necessary; and, plan and facilitate appropriate staff development for school personnel according to identified needs.
Schedule appropriate supervision for extra-curricular activities, and other school sponsored events and assume responsibility for communicating expectations, district policies and procedures with all stakeholders.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with system level administrators and other colleagues within the district and the profession.
Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned by School District Administrators.
