SUMMARY and ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain grounds. Includes mowing, weed trimming, edging, trimming bushes and trees, weed spraying, building, and general grounds/turf maintenance. Assist with irrigation maintenance repair.
40 hrs per week ending in September or October.
Starting rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE 0 – 2 years experience in grounds maintenance or related field.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT Basic math, writing and communication skills. Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance. Operating knowledge of general power tools used for grounds maintenance such as trimmers, chain saws, and mowers.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License.

Employee must wear personal protective equipment whenever required, ask for assistance if the task requires more than one person and, if unsure how to perform a task safely, stop and ask supervisor for instruction before continuing.
