SUMMARY: Safely support, care for, and manage students on daily routes and other transportation operations while following CDE, CDL and district policies and any other relevant state or federal regulations. This position is required to support varying and directly assigned daily transportation routes and substitute for varying routes and district operations as needed. This position will be required to safely perform job duties involving all department vehicles as assigned to support department and district operations and emergency district needs during all hours of the day and all types of weather/traffic conditions as needed. Learn and maintain knowledge of state and federal transportation laws and regulations and Thompson Schools District policies and procedures. Provide customer service and resolve operational route needs and concerns with department and district staff. Provide any needed support to the department and district in emergency situations.

Starting rate of pay is $20.39 per hour plus benefits. Range 14 ($20.39 - $33.19) - Classified Salary Schedule
