Summer School Program
Assignment: Temporary
Anticipated start date: July 7, 2025
Anticipated end date: July 24, 2025
SVEA Professional Rate: $46.30 per hour (or per Diem Rate, whichever is higher*)
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 11:30am
Friday: Not scheduled
Total weekly hours: 12
*There will be a 0.5-hour paid meeting and 3-hour paid classroom setup time prior to start of summer school. Each teacher will be paid for 30 minutes of daily prep time.
Note: Summer school teachers can enroll their child(ren) at no cost.
The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech/Language Pathologist must work closely with family, staff and administrators. **Required: Valid Washington State ESA Certificate with appropriate endorsement is required.
