  Position/Title:          Drumline Instructor, Patriots Marching Band
 
When:                    February through early July; schedule specifics TBD
 
Stipend:                  $5,000.00
 
Responsibilities:

- Work with Patriots staff including the Executive Director and all other staff members 
- Attend all practices, parades and staff meetings
- Teach drumline fundamentals, technique, and performance skills for all aspects of parade performance
- Work with the Marching Instructor to understand, refine, and help teach drill to the band
- Maintain drumline equipment and its accompanying supply inventory
- Additional work as it comes along if/as needed
 
Prerequisites:
 
- Significant percussion and drumline performance and instruction experience in field and/or parade genres
- Understanding of and experience with both traditional and contemporary parade styles and aesthetics
