Position Title: K Camp Educational Assistant
Job Summary: The K Camp Educational Assistant will provide support to students transitioning into kindergarten by helping them acclimate to the school environment, promoting social-emotional development, and assisting with daily classroom routines. This role involves working closely with children, supporting individualized learning, and aiding in the development of foundational academic and social skills.
Dates- July 28th- July 31st, 2025
Times- 8:30-11:00 AM
Rate of pay- $22.63 per hour; $18.00 Substitute
Location- Kaposia Education Center and Lincoln Center
Key Responsibilities:
Support Student Transition
Assist with Classroom Activities
Promote Social-Emotional Development
Collaborate with Teachers
Support Special Needs Students
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
Experience working with young children in an educational setting (Kindergarten or Preschool).
Understanding of child development and early childhood education practices.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from teachers and program coordinators.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude towards working with young children.
Strong communication skills, both with children and adults.
