  The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant for Canal View Elementary School. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.

*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. 

Job Description:  This position will provide direct instructional services and support to students in Reading.

Required Credentials:  New York State Teacher Assistant or Teacher Certification (See http://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/certificate/ta.html for further information regarding certification as a Teaching Assistant in New York State.), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, technologically proficient

Appointment:  10 month school year; 6.25 hours per day; 8:45AM - 3:30PM

Salary/Rate of Pay:  Hourly wage based on previous experience, plus an hourly educational degree stipend, if applicable ($0.17 Associate's, $0.26 Bachelor's, $0.34 Master's)
