Qualifications Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah Professional Secondary license with Biology endorsements. Must be willing to earn Ag Science endorsements.
Master's Degree and/or ESL endorsement preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to) Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' knowledge and understanding of sciences, specifically agricultural sciences. The teacher will educates students about biology, agriculture, animal sciences, plant science, soil science, and natural resources. The teacher will teach vital skills like science, math, communication, leadership, and technology.
Lead Teachers will be selected as model educators who help drive instructional improvement for their colleagues by maintaining a laboratory classroom, displaying exceptional results with their students, and facilitating lesson study with their peers - a teacher-led teacher improvement process through Professional Learning Communities and School Leadership Councils. These teachers will be comfortable deconstructing their effective practice into teachable segments and will be an integral part of a school's transformation strategy.

Salary Placed on
Licensed Salary Schedule with an additional $12,000 lead teacher stipend.
Placement is determined by education level and years of experience. Experience credit will be awarded for all years of certified experience in an accredited school.
