Position Type: Elementary School Teaching
Job Title: Bilingual Parent (BPAC) Liaison -Lincoln Elementary
Duration: October 2024 - May 2025
Stipend: $180
Payment: December and May
Reports To: Principal/Director of Bilingual Services

Position is responsible for supporting the bilingual parent advisory committee (BPAC) at their
school site. The applicant must be a current staff member at their school site.

Essential Duties
(These are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission
of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a
logical assignment to the position.)
1. Supports BPAC parents with the planning and facilitates/attends 4 BPAC meetings at the
school (during the school day)
2. Meets with the Director of Bilingual and other BPAC Liaisons to help plan 2 BPAC district
events (1-2 meetings per year)
3. Helps BPAC members coordinate with the school PTO and school leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Must be able to speak both English and Spanish fluently, writing abilities in both language
preferred
