  •   Our preschool program is seeking a highly motivated Preschool Coordinator! As the Preschool Coordinator, you will assist the Director of Special Education in providing leadership to the implementation of instructional programs and coordination of resources for students in preschool. You will also evaluate all certified and classified staff assigned to the early childhood, blended, and/or preschool classrooms and programs. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, have excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with young children.

    Qualifications for the position include a Master's Degree in an educational field, a valid Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a General Administrative endorsement preferred, a valid driver's license, and previous teaching experience preferably in an early childhood, blended, or preschool classroom setting.

    Flossmoor School District 161 currently houses two preschool classrooms, one blended classroom, and one early chilldhood classroom at Flossmoor Hills Elementary School. 

    A competitive salary and benefits package is offered. Salary starts at $80,000 with Board paid TRS and family health insurance.
