The Hudson School District is seeking a part-time Health Science Teacher in the CTE at Alvirne High School for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Health Science program exposes students to the wide array of careers within the health field. It offer students the ability to complete LNA, phlebotomy and medical assisting certifications while still enrolled in high school. The recent addition of a fully operational dental lab will allow students to pursue a dental assisting pathway as well..
Based upon the course schedule, classes may include the following:
- CTE Health Science
- Intro to Health & Human Services Exploration
- Care and Support

Note: This position does not require one to be teacher certified to start, but to obtain a Statement of Eligibility from the NH DOE and work towards teacher certification over the course of one's first three years.
Working Conditions: This part-time position will teach two blocks per day; position is approximately 3 hours per day through the school year; pay rate of $32.00-40.00/hr, depending on experience. The ideal applicant is an RN who would be available to teach from approximately 11:00am until 2:15pm. There is potential for after school opportunities teaching the LNA coursework as well.
Qualifications:
- Health related credential, required
- Registered Nurse, preferred
- Current or ability to attain NH CTE Health Science teaching credential, required
