Qualifications: Bachelors degree and relevant experience in education, psychology, social work, mental health or youth development work.  
• Understanding of adolescent development and challenges.
• Familiarity with school systems, processes and frameworks (MTSS-B).
• Ability to identify and address barriers to school engagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with young people.
• Belief in every student’s potential, emphasizing strengths and learning capacity.
• Collaborative skills to work effectively with school teams and to advocate for students.
• Cultural competence and responsiveness for students and families from diverse backgrounds
• Long-term commitment to supporting students and families, persisting through challenges.

This Grant Funded Position is 7 hours per day/183 days per year  with up to 35 additional hours outside of the school year
