PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The assistant principal assists the building principal in all facets of school operations, student assessment programs, and monitoring of school budgets/expenditures.  This position also assumes responsibility for functions of the building principal in his/her absence.  This position also administers the student personnel program and counsels students relative to educational and co-curricular activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Certified and non-certified staff as designated by the principal.

5.    Interviews students, parents, and staff to take necessary action in cases of truancy, delinquency, course failure, and/or discipline concerns.
6.    Monitors student achievement data and institutes and/or implements adjustments in curriculum/instructional delivery.
7.    Completes documentation and reports as needed to fulfill Federal, State, and District mandates in a timely manner.
8.    Assumes responsibility for functions of building principal in his/her absence.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree and Type 75 Certificate, experience in public school administration, proven record of providing equity in a public agency or school leadership, management and leadership skills are adaptable to public relations, human relations, equity principles and planning capability.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Title I Teacher is to teach students in specialized core academic center area groups.  This specialist utilizes the most effective practices in the teaching and assessment of core academic content areas to immerse each child in a rich academic environment which capitalizes on his/he strengths and works toward academic achievement in reading and math. He/she models excellent teaching strategies, ensuring implementation of state and district curriculum standards. The teacher will collaborate with building and district level colleagues.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Regular Building Substitute Teacher works as a fulltime substitute teacher in an assigned building and fills in for regular classroom teacher when they are absent. The Regular Building Substitute Teacher must facilitate studentlearning in accordance with the goals and directives of the school and the district.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a minimum of State of Illinois Substitute Type 39 Certificate and governed by PA 97-0607.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Teacher understands the central concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of disciplines and creates learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students.
