Unity Junior High School an opening for a middle level social studies teacher beginning SY 2025-2026. Unity Junior High School has a strong collaborative climate. We have a proven track record of supporting new teachers as well as those seasoned teachers who are looking for a career change or returning to work. Our social studies team is comprised of three teachers, one at each grade level. In addition, there are various athletic coaching opportunities anticipated for 2025-2026. Salary is based on degree and years of experience
Pension: District will pay 9.8901% TRS
Pay Dates: Twice a month
Sick leave: 14 days per year
Personal leave: 2 days per year
Health Insurance/Annuity: The employee has the option:
1. 100% of Employee health insurance monthly premium paid in full
2. $130 per month to a qualified annuity (employee choice)
Tuition Reimbursement: Consistent with contract language on page 12 of the PNA.
Professional Meetings/Conferences: Tolono CUSD 7 encourages teachers to grow professionally by providing budgeted amounts to reimburse most expenses related to approved staff development activities which include registration fees, mileage, meals, and hotel accommodations.
Non Resident Tuition Waiver: Full-time employees of Tolono CUSD 7 are allowed to have their child(ren) attend Tolono CUSD 7 free of charge. The full time employee that has elementary age child(ren) may request which elementary school their child(ren) would attend with the understanding that the superintendent has final approval on placement. Child(ren) will be placed at the same building where the full time employee works when applicable.
