Position: English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher

Position Summary: We are seeking an ESL instructor for the 2025-2026 school year. The candidate may fulfill roles in various settings including pull-out small groups and push-in support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Multilingal Learners, be skilled in strategic instruction, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and be self-motivated in his/her pursuit of professional growth.
 
Qualifications:
 
• NJ Teacher of English as a Second Language Certification
• Experience working with Multilingual Learners

Start Date: August 27, 2025 plus 3 days NTO

Working Conditions: 10 month, full-time, tenure-track position, salary as per negotiated contract with benefits

Position: Five (5) District Skilled Maintenance Positions: Two (2) HVAC, Two (2) Electricians, and One (1) Plumber

HVAC Technician: The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout the school district. This includes ensuring optimal climate control, energy efficiency, and air quality in all school buildings.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.   
• Possession of relevant certifications, such as EPA Section 608 certification.
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a school setting.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC principles, systems, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various HVAC testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.   
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and related controls.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and diagnose problems accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Install and calibrate thermostats and other HVAC control systems.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Respond to emergency HVAC issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
• Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Willing to work outside of contracted working hours, if needed.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
 
Electrician: The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the school district. This includes power distribution, lighting, and other electrical infrastructure. The Electrician ensures that all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes, contributing to a safe and reliable electrical environment for students and staff.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid and current Electrician's License.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a school setting.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.   
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Inspect electrical systems regularly to identify potential hazards and ensure proper functioning.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
• Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Willing to work outside of contracted working hours, if needed.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
 
Plumber: The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems and fixtures within the school district. This includes water lines, drainage systems, and related equipment. The Plumber ensures that all plumbing work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards, contributing to a safe and functional learning environment for students and staff.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid and current Plumber's License.
• Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a school district.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various plumbing tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.   
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to work outside of contracted working hours, if needed.
Responsibilities:
 
• Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing systems and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and drinking fountains.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Inspect plumbing systems regularly to identify potential problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Install and repair water and drainage pipes, including copper, PVC, and other materials.
• Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs meet local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
• Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
