VACANCY NOTICE:  Aide (Intensive Needs)
 
LOCATION: Richfield Elementary School

APPLICATION DEADLINE:  Until Filled 

POSITION:  5.75 hours per day (Hired through ESC of Northeast Ohio)
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
• Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
• Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students.
• Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters. 
• Embodies high ethical standards/integrity.  Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) or similar specialized training(s) may be required.
• Physical Demands:  Duties may require providing physical assistance to students 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides student assistance with daily living activities, behavior management, instructional support, social skills, task redirection, etc., as directed.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates (unless current employees) must pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
