POSITION:  Up to 3.0 Hours Per Day 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
DUTIES:
General responsibility of the lunchroom/playground aide is to supervise students during their lunch and recess periods.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
• Must have or to be able to obtain a Student Supervision Aide Permit or Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education

• Training and/or experience in maintaining the safety of students while serving as a positive role model

• Ability to work in a fast paced child-centered environment

• Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students

• Ability to accurately follow directions

• Ability to work with all students, school staff and parents

• Willingness to implement specific discipline/behavioral management plans

• Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters

• Willingness to work cooperatively with others
 
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
Candidates (unless current employees) must pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
