Strength & Conditioning Coach
The position oversees the district’s strength training program and facilities, striving to make such facilities available to student-athletes of all sports and students not involved with athletic activities. The position focuses on improving athletic performance, reducing injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing training plans to enhance student development, supervising training sessions, evaluating student-athletes, maintaining student-athlete records, leading strength and conditioning sessions, providing athletic coaches with specific programs tailored to their student-athletes’ needs, contributing to the maintenance of strength and conditioning facilities, ensuring safe operation of all related equipment, and consulting with the Athletic Trainer when working with injured student-athletes undergoing rehabilitation.
Requirement(s):
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology or related field. A current relevant professional certification, such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, issued by an independent accreditation agency, or willingness to obtain one within one year of the hire date. Current standard first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillation (AED) certifications. Experience and expertise in strength and conditioning programs for student populations.

Terms of Employment: 12-month, non-affiliated position
