    POSITION:  Summer Custodian
                                

    DESCRIPTION: A Summer Custodian works with the custodial staff to complete the summer work needed. Responsibilities may include cleaning lockers; moving & cleaning furniture; washing walls, doors, and windows; cleaning bathrooms; emptying trash; and re-assembling classrooms when cleaning & waxing are complete. Some additional duties may include outside work including, pulling weeds, washing windows, and bringing trash to the receptacle. Age-appropriate students who are over the age of 16 may be using lightweight equipment such as a weed whacker, pressure washer, or push lawn mower.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 
    • Must be 14 years of age or older
    • Must possess good interpersonal communication skills
    • Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others
    • Must be able to perform frequent stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds
       
     
     
    DATES: July 1, 2025 – August 22, 2025
    •  Not to exceed 30 hours per week

    RATE OF PAY: $16.35 per hour
