  Periodically, the district has the need for a tutor to work with a student who may be homebound, suspended, expelled, or for whatever reason, unable to attend school.  These tutoring positions are arranged through the school district and do not include any private tutoring arrangements made between a teacher and a parent. 
 
 
• For the 2023-2024 school year, the contracted tutor rate is $39/per hour.
•  A person who holds a valid CT Certification will be paid at the contracted tutor rate. 
• A college degree, non-certified person will be paid $25/per hour.
