JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Elementary Principal provides administrative leadership and management for the operation and educational programs of the elementary school to maintain and promote an effective education program while maintaining a positive culture and climate.
The elementary principal:
provides oversight for all aspects of the elementary school, such as the instructional program, school environment, and the operational/fiscal health of the school.
assumes responsibility for implementing and observing all Board policies and regulations by the school’s staff and students.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree in Education Leadership, Administration, or related field.
A valid Minnesota Principal License issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Prior administrative experience in an elementary school setting.
Strong understanding of Minnesota state standards and assessment systems.
Proven ability to lead data-driven instruction and school improvement initiatives.
SALARY Based on education and experience
Salary Range: $104,000-$106,875
