Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master’s Degree in guidance and counseling
Valid Texas Counseling Certification
Valid Texas Teaching Certification, preferred
 
Special Knowledge/ Skills:
Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development.
Excellent organizational, communication and intrapersonal skills
Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data
Demonstration of counseling and guidance leadership
Ability to assist with instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
 
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching and/or counseling experience, preferred
