ELEMENTARY SPANISH TEACHER
2025-2026 School Year (1.0 FTE)



Qualifications: 
 
•  Must have a current/valid Michigan Teaching Certificate appropriate to grade level.

•  Major or Minor in Spanish.

•  Must have the Spanish Endorsement (FF) K-12 w/Elementary Classroom Experience.

•  Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified requirements.

•  MTTC passing scores required.

•  Knowledge of current instructional programs in foreign languages.

•  Willing and capable of teaching Elementary Spanish. 

• Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Google Docs,    creation of web pages, etc. required.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary 
Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.

POSITION:   Social Emotional Support Aide


JOB DUTIES:
• Ability to walk long distances
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to take written and oral instructions
• Supervises students during recess.
• Supervises students at lunch time and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Directs movement of groups to and from the cafeteria in a safe and organized manner.
• Assists students in lunch room clean-up.
• Supervise rest rooms and hallways.
REPORTS TO:
• Jennifer Johnson, Building Prinicpal
SCHEDULE/WAGE
• Monday - Friday
• Building Aide - $15.00 Per Hour
• Lunch/Recess - $17.00 Per Hour
